Our Purpose.
We love sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with outdoorsmen and women through our podcasts, content, and online resources. Our hope is not only for people to come to know Jesus, but to find and engage in true discipleship through our bible studies, community group chat, and retreats.
The Greeting Call is a crowdfunded 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry.
It’s the generosity from our partners that allows us to do what we do and provide all of our resources for free. Your financial gifts to The Greeting Call are recognized as tax-deductible by the IRS. At the end of the year, you will receive a giving summary to report on your taxes.
How to partner with us.
We are partnered with Breeze as our online giving platform. Serving over 10,000+ churches/organizations across the United States, we felt as though Breeze was the best fit for our organization. You can set up a 1-time donation or a monthly recurring gift to help us advance the Gospel.
We can’t thank you enough for partnering with us in this mission!
Hunt for Hope Mission
Swamp Dog and The Greeting Call are partnering up to help support the communities effected by Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina. The Greeting Call is using funds raised to send volunteer teams to help recovery efforts to the affected areas. This is our hunt for hope.
With the proceeds from sales and donations, The Greeting Call is strategically planning ways to partner with organizations that have boots on the ground in areas of urgent need of supplies and volunteer help. The Greeting Call is also arranging ways to have a long-term presence in those areas.
How You Can Help
Financially - Shop at SwampDog.com or Give Financially Here for a tax-exempt donation.
Donate - We’ve made contact with a pastor of a local church in Marshall. This town is about 30 minutes north of Asheville. We visited the town on 10/8 to access the situation. Marshall was hit hard. Search and rescue is complete for his area. They’re mudding out buildings now and trying to dry them out. It’s not life or death like search and rescue but timing is important to prevent more damage and mold from the moisture. We are coordinating with First Baptist Church of Marshall weekly to address their constant needs for the demolition and rebuilding efforts of their town. The church is located in the heart of Marshall along the French Broad River. Our goal for this mission is to be a light in that community and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ while volunteering to restore so much of what was lost. This is a marathon, not a sprint. If you’d prefer to purchase and donate supplies that is helpful for our mission, email us at info@thegreetingcall.com.
Volunteer Opportunity - We are creating a contact list of those able and willing to help. If interested in being a part of our efforts, email info@thegreetingcall.com with your contact information and to what capacity you are able to volunteer. If you’re interested in helping efforts with a larger organization, links to trusted partners are below:
Prayer - Pray for the families and communities impacted. Pray for peace. Pray for the rescue teams as they continue to navigate the debris. Pray that God would reveal himself through this devastation. Pray that the supplies would make it into the right hands of those in need.
Share - Share our social posts and links to this page so that we can all be the hands and feet of Jesus. Many people are unaware of the devastation or feel as though they are unable to help.

Friday & Saturday 10/18-19 Update:
Task Report: Jack, Bo, Avery, Mark, and Jeff headed to Marshall to volunteer with downtown clean up efforts. The team took drills, crowbars, sledge hammers, and proper PPE for the demo work they had planned. On Friday, the team started in an old book store removing wonder board to prevent mold damage. The team wrapped up that job on Saturday and moved down to the Mashburn building to remove toilets, sinks, vanities, and the remaining drywall. Tired was an understatement for the team after the long weekend! Thanks again for all of the donations that allowed the guys to make it up there and stay for the weekend.
Friday - Sunday 12/6-8 Plans:
Task Report: Jack, Forrest, and Brendan volunteered in the Marshall, NC community with a mobile home demolition and a few earth work projects. CCS Equipment Sales donated a mini excavator rental for the weekend. The team was also able to take a skidsteer borrowed from a friend. They started the demolition on Friday afternoon and finished Saturday mid-day. To make use of the mini excavator and skidsteer, they moved across town into the Rollins community to help with some sand/silt removal and grading work. They wrapped up Sunday morning and headed back to the central part of the state. Donated funds were used to help fuel the machines and cover travel expenses for the team. Every penny makes a difference - thank you for the continued support!
